When we think of a country, we think about the food, language, popular tourist attractions, and lifestyle they have. Upon discussions with people, watching television series, movies and reading about these places, I have noticed several cultural differences between India (where I live) and abroad countries. One of the major differences I have personally noticed is language and its role in society. It's obvious that there will be major differences in language. It changes according to the country or the region it's located in. For example, people in France speak French and the people in Japan speak Japanese.   One of the most common words used in my Theory of Knowledge class by my teacher is "shared knowledge". To clarify, shared knowledge is the knowledge acquired from others. For example, I learn about mathematics from my math teacher and math textbook. I'm getting this information from others and it is something that I have not discovered myself. Therefore it's considered shared knowledge.  I know what it is, I understand it, it doesn't mean much to me.
